Apartment Eindhoven

The interior of this apartment situated on the 21st floor of one of Eindhoven’s landmark building was commissioned by the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009. The apartment was used to hold small informal meetings and to lodge guests of the academy.

The interior is a showcase of Dutch Design, including products by young designers and design icons.
ThomasE. was responsible for curating a sophisticated and comfortable interior following this concept.
For one of the bedrooms Thomas designed a gradient wallpaper which is now in the NLXL wallpaper collection.

Office Interior Eindhoven

This office interior is situated in the iconic “Bruine Heer” building in the centre of Eindhoven.
The sober and functional interior was transformed into a comfortable and inspirational working environment.
ThomasE. strategically added soft furnishings, curtains, carpets and eye catching interior accessories.
The color pallet was chosen to reinforce the corporate identity.

Modez Studio’s Arnhem (Blue)

The Modez Studio’s are part of Fashion Hotel Modez.
Hotel Modez and the Modez Studio’s are located in the “Modekwartier”, the design district of Arnhem.
ThomasE. was responsible for the creating the interior concept including colors and material as well as all furniture and styling.

The studio’s have been decorated according to 3 different color themes.
The ground floor apartments have a a blue palette. The name of each studio is inspired by a fashion accessory that is depicted in the statement wallpaper. In case of the blue studio’s this is a tie and a bow-tie which are featured in the fashion illustrations by Sjoukje Bierma.

Modez Studio’s Arnhem (Pink)

The Modez Studio’s are part of Fashion Hotel Modez.
Hotel Modez and the Modez Studio’s are located in the “Modekwartier”, the design district of Arnhem.
ThomasE. was responsible for the creating the interior concept including colors and material as well as all furniture en styling.

The studio’s have been decorated according to 3 different color themes.
Two of the four split level apartments on the upper floors have a pink palette.
The name of each studio is inspired by a fashion accessory that is depicted in the statement wallpaper. In case of the pink studio’s those are a hat and a pair of heels which are featured in the photo’s by fashion photographer Sabrina Bongiovanni.

The pink marquetry wallpaper on the wall next to the staircase is a design by ThomasE. for NLXL.

Apartment Amsterdam

This relatively small Amsterdam apartment was decorated by ThomasE. with modern classics and contemporary design.
The soft but outspoken color pallet was used to create a sequence of different atmospheres throughout the apartment.
The ribbon carpet originally designed by Thomas for the residence of the Dutch ambassador in Tokyo was customized to match the color scheme of the apartment.

The studio’s have been decorated according to 3 different color themes.
Two of the four split level apartments on the upper floors have a multicolor palette.
The name of each studio is inspired by a fashion accessory that is depicted in the statement wallpaper. In case of the pink studio’s those are an umbrella and a tote bag which are featured in the photo’s by fashion photographer Sabrina Bongiovanni.

The gradient wallpaper on the wall next to the staircase is a design by ThomasE. for NLXL.

Interiors

When the opportunity arises to create 360 degrees interiors, Eurlings takes colors and materials as a starting point – like he does with his products. The rooms are a colorful safe haven that radiate the character of the both the designer and its function: designing a space cannot be done without taken the movements of its users into consideration. As an interior designer, Eurlings is proud of his work for Modez Studios and various private clients, giving him freedom to combine his design vision with their wishes.
